Job summary

Chedraui USA's El Super #52 in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Checker to provide outstanding customer service and manage cash register operations with accuracy. This role involves fast-paced checkout duties and safeguarding assets in a busy grocery environment.

The position requires basic PC/Outlook skills, physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and the capacity to stand or bend for extended periods. Training and full-time hours are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, price codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support to store guests.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Safeguard company assets and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with operational tasks as needed.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, price codes, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and coworkers.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
