Job summary

Food Lion in Snow Hill, NC seeks a Retail Associate to provide quality customer service in the Center Store (Grocery) Department and support store operations. You will maintain shelves, ensure saleable merchandise, and assist customers with a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

This role requires teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and a commitment to Food Lion policies. Successful completion of CBT and training is expected, with duties as assigned to uphold store standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience
• Courteous and helpful to other associates
• Stock shelves and ensure saleable merchandise is displayed properly
• Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag
• Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves
• Follow Food Lion policies and guidelines for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO
• Follow safety guidelines and report accidents as required
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge; maintain neat appearance
• Complete required CBT and training and perform other duties as assigned
