Job summary

Food Lion seeks a Center Store associate to provide quality customer service and maintain the Grocery Department standards. You will help create a positive shopping experience, stock shelves, check pricing, and follow safety and company guidelines on a daily basis.

You will participate in required CBT and training, wear the uniform, and contribute to a safe shopping environment. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork and efficient operations in-store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Stock shelves and ensure correct shelf tagging.
• Maintain shelf allocations and ensure saleable merchandise.
• Follow policies, procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
