Job summary

Food Lion is seeking an individual to assist the Center Store (Grocery) Manager in delivering quality customer service and maintaining standards across the Center Store department. You will help train and schedule the stock crew, ensure product availability, and follow safety policies to minimize shrink.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, teamwork with store associates, and adherence to guidelines for ordering, receiving and merchandising in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness and provide fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Keep Center Store (Grocery) area clean and neat.
• Assist the Center Store Manager with training, scheduling and supervising stock crew.
• Help achieve productivity goals for the stock crew.
• Stock merchandise according to policies and guidelines.
• Ensure only saleable merchandise is displayed.
• Maintain shelf allocations per item tags and planograms.
• Handle ordering, receiving, preparation and display per guidelines.
• Understand and use company tools like ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to Food Lion guidelines, safety and policies.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety procedures.
• Report accidents per established procedures to the Manager on Duty.
