Job summary

You will help train stock crew, maintain appearance, manage shelving, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and efficiency through stocking, merchandising and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic, fast, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Ensure Center Store associates maintain a clean, neat appearance.
• Assist Center Store Manager to train, schedule, and maintain stock crew.
• Assist stock crew productivity and meeting goals.
• Stock products per policies and guidelines.
• Place only saleable merchandise on shelves.
• Maintain shelf allocations per item tags.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation and display follow policies.
• Proficient with company tools ACIS and CAO.
• Understand and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear Food Lion uniform with name badge.
• Complete CBT and training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
