Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Center Store (Grocery) Associate to assist the Center Store Manager, deliver quality customer service, and maintain standards to maximize sales. You will minimize shrink through proper practices and help train and supervise the stock crew.

Responsibilities include stocking, shelf maintenance, safety adherence, and ensuring store policies are followed, with a focus on fast, friendly service for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist Center Store Manager to provide fast, friendly and accurate customer service.
• Train, schedule and maintain a qualified stock crew for Center Store.
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance of Center Store associates.
• Ensure productive performance and proper stocking according to policies.
• Follow safety guidelines and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
