Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a store associate to deliver outstanding customer service in the Center Store department. You will help shoppers, stock shelves, and follow standard operating procedures to maximize sales and minimize shrink.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to learn multiple tasks, and adherence to safety and dress code guidelines as part of a team-based retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic, fast, friendly and accurate customer service.
• Assist customers and fellow associates in a courteous manner.
• Stock shelves, tidy displays and ensure correct pricing on shelves.
• Handle merchandise ordering, receiving and display per policy.
• Utilize store tools like ACIS and CAO as trained.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions to management.
• Wear uniform with name badge and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete required CBT, training packets and related courses.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
