Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a front-line team member to provide quality service in the Center Store (Grocery) department. You will help customers, stock shelves, and maintain store standards to maximize sales while minimizing shrink.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, using inventory tools, and adhering to company policies. The role requires a high school graduate or equivalent and the ability to learn multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical ability

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Stock shelves and maintain tag moldings with damp cloth when stocking.
• Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag.
• Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying follow policies.
• Learn and use ACIS and CAO inventory tools.
• Follow Food Lion policies, standard practice, and safety guidelines.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions per procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
