Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service in our Pittsburg, KS store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags, stock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment including the parking lot.

Experience in retail is a plus, and you will help customers locate items, inform them of specials, and adhere to safety and food safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Nice to have ability to assist customers with loading bags into vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at check out for customers.
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and stock duties.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and tidy store areas.
• Maintain clean store and parking lot.
• Assist with price checks and locating products.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to all customers.
