Job summary

IGA Southeast in Barnwell, SC, seeks an experienced store manager to oversee daily operations and drive results. You will manage center store balance, supervise staff, and assist the Store Manager in achieving budgeted outcomes while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staffing, pricing audits, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role emphasizes training, development, and creating a high-energy, guest-focused selling culture across the store.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 1-3 years supermarket management experience.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. consistently and 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to supervise staff including training and development.
• Strong communication, guest service and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage FPI, DAX & center store balance on hand (BOH) and assist Store Manager to meet budgeted results.
• Oversee total store operations in Store Manager's absence.
• Protect assets, merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment.
• Ensure shrink functions are performed and compliance with statutes and policies.
• Schedule department labor effectively.
• May perform staffing duties including interviews and orientation.
• Teach and develop departmental staff; build a bench for high-potential employees.
• Execute weekly pricing audits, pull lists, ad checks, and monthly ALI self-audits.
• Create an enthusiastic, guest-focused, selling culture.
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and hosts.
• Additional duties assigned by Store Manager.
