Job summary

Bozo in Bozeman, MT is hiring a Grocery Assistant Manager to help run the department with a focus on service, safety, and efficiency. Shifts are Tuesday-Saturday 1pm-9pm, with Friday 3pm-9pm; some flexibility.

You will assist the Grocery Manager, lead staff, manage receiving and stocking, and support inventory control while maintaining a positive work environment.

Starting wage is $25-$27 DOE; full-time position with opportunities to develop leadership and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and managing staff, preferably in a retail setting.
• Experience working with email and MS Office to communicate, prepare reports, and complete tasks.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs., and to stand/bend for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, direct, and provide feedback to Grocery Supervisors and staff; ensure service, product quality, and productivity.
• Oversee scheduling, training, and staff development; cover shifts for emergencies as needed.
• Assist in receiving and stocking plans, coordinate with staff and vendors, and maintain warehouse organization.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with merchandising and shelf tagging.
• Cashier duties as necessary to meet service standards.
