Job summary

RW Screw Products, Inc. in Massillon, OH is seeking a Grinding Set Up and Tech to join its precision machining team. You will set up and maintain grinding equipment (infeed, through-feed, Studer), make mechanical adjustments and diagnose routine machine problems under guidance.

Requires a minimum of 2 years grinding experience, understanding of Infeed, Through Feed and Center grinding, and ability to read blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and clean, safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Grinding experience: 2+ years, job shop preferred.
• Infeed, Through Feed, Center grinding knowledge.
• Reading blueprints and use measuring devices.
• Strong troubleshooting, self-motivated, able to work unsupervised.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Continuous Improvement mentality

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts for machine operation
• Set up Machine/Size Parts by use of Micrometers/Equipment
• Complete paperwork and hourly checks of equipment
• General Clean Up and maintenance of workspace
• Assure maintenance and operation of equipment
• Advanced training of machine operators
