Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Manufacturing Grinder/Setup specialist to assist in setups and troubleshooting of grinding equipment, order tooling, submit work orders, and support process improvements. This role requires collaboration with engineering and maintenance, adherence to safety and export controls, and the ability to work in a matrix environment.

The position is fully onsite at Regal Rexnord, with responsibilities including setting up parts, reviewing prints, and maintaining controlled

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Green belt in 3 years or equivalent knowledge.
• Communication and ability to work in a matrix/team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to S&O operator and Operator B personnel and instructs procedures.
• Assist in setups and troubleshooting on grinding equipment.
• Submit workorders for down equipment and help set priority.
• Work with Engineering on process improvements including setup reduction and standard work procedures.
• Assist in new part setups and machine design considerations.
• Assist in ordering grinding tooling (grinding wheels, diamonds, jaws, drivers).
• Perform first piece approval per setup approval process.
• Operate precision measuring equipment.
• Follow Ethics and Safety Programs and environmental compliance.
