A.R. Mazzotta Employment Specialists is placing a Grinding Machine Operator at our client site in Torrington, CT.

We offer on-the-job training and development on grinding and setup, with opportunities on 2nd and 3rd shifts and training on first shift for approximately three months. Previous machine operating experience is not required, and a strong mechanical aptitude with attention to quality will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude is desired.
• Strong attention to quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn machine setup.
• Dependable attendance is important.
• Blueprint and measuring tool experience are helpful.
• Grinding or setup experience is a plus.

Grinding Machine Operator – Will Train Torrington, CT $18.00–$20.00 per Hour, Based on Experience 2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities | Train on 1st Shift

We can teach you grinding and setup. We're looking for Machine Operators who want to develop more advanced manufacturing skills. Previous grinding experience is not required. You'll receive hands‑on training in grinding machine operation and setup, including:

• Machine setup and adjustments
• Grinding wheels and tooling
• Feeds and speeds
• Blueprint reading
• Precision measuring tools
• Quality checks and troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

These are 2nd and 3rd shift positions. You must be available to train on 1st shift for approximately three months before moving to your regular shift.
