A.R. Mazzotta in Winsted, CT is seeking a Grind Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to join our manufacturing team. The role trains on first shift and develops hands-on grinding skills with equipment.

No prior machine operation is required, but mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are valued. You will follow instructions, monitor quality, and contribute to a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience is helpful, but not required.
• Technical school or vocational training is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning how equipment works.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment to produce quality parts
• Follow work instructions and production specifications
• Monitor the process and inspect finished parts for quality
• Make adjustments as needed within established procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn the equipment and manufacturing processes
• Work toward taking on additional responsibilities as your skills develop
