Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a dependable Grinder to assist with finishing metal piping components in an industrial fabrication shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves smoothing metal surfaces, removing rough edges and excess weld material, and preparing fabricated pipe components for the next production stage.

Responsibilities

• Operate handheld grinders to smooth metal surfaces and remove burrs.
• Remove excess weld material and surface imperfections.
• Assist with finishing pipe spools, fittings, and metal assemblies.
• Inspect components for visible defects and quality issues.
• Follow instructions and production specifications.
• Safely position and handle metal components.
• Report damaged materials and equipment concerns.
• Follow workplace safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Care for assigned tools and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Industrial pipe fabrication shop with metalworking equipment, grinding tools, noise, dust, and sparks. Safety procedures and protective equipment are required.
