Job summary

Employ-Temps is seeking a Grinder/Polisher in Canton, OH to contribute to precision sheet metal finishing. The role focuses on preparing finishing details, following blueprints, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

On first shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, you will operate stroke sanders, pneumatic grinders, and other finishing tools, while pursuing quality and efficiency in every part produced for client nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating grinders and sanders.
• Ability to grind and sand complex shapes and edges.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and heavy lifting.

Hours

1st Shift | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay

$18.00 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grinders, including stroke sanders and pneumatic grinders

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of experience operating grinders and sanders

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with drilling, tapping, and welding studs
• Knowledge of pre-coating and finishing processes

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing or metal finishing experience preferred

Other Requirements

• Energetic with a willingness to learn new techniques
• Able to work on-site during first shift hours
