Job summary

Amcor is hiring for a Grinder role in Henderson, NV. You will operate a granulator, grind scrap, label gaylords, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate regrind totals across shifts. You will also handle pallet jacks and forklifts and uphold food safety and regulatory responsibilities.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and reliable teamwork with safety as a priority. Training on equipment and safety protocols is provided.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
• Understanding of QA in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be safety minded and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a quality regrind by proper polymer separation and correct labeling.
• Monitor granulator operation and report issues to Maintenance, Shift Supervisor and QA Manager.
• Maintain housekeeping in Grinder Room and Scrap Area; operate pallet jack and forklift safely.
