Job summary

Anderson|Biro, LLC is seeking a dependable Grinder Operator in a fast-paced Ohio production facility. You will sort and grind plastic scrap, prepare materials for re-use in extrusion processes, and maintain quality standards with a strong safety focus.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, loading, record-keeping, and cross-training across departments. Prior manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude are valued, along with reliable attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Independent and team-oriented work style.
• Good communication with coworkers/supervisors.
• Follow written instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sort plastic sheet materials for processing.
• Box, label, weigh, and identify inventory and finished materials.
• Follow grinding schedules and production priorities.
• Load materials into grinding equipment and process to pellet form.
• Tear down and clean grinding equipment for production.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs.
• Operate forklifts/tow motors to move materials.
• Maintain production and inventory records.
• Use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Assist other departments during cross-training.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
