Job summary

AZEK Company/TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Grinder Operator for the PVC Plant on the Day Shift. This role removes scrap from production lines and regrinds material for reuse, ensuring dust collection and regrind lines are properly supplied.

The position requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, forklift certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. Equal opportunity employer with safety prioritization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Forklift Certification.
• Self-directed and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to perform physical requirements (10–100 lbs).
• Standing for entire shift and able to kneel, lift overhead, bend, climb.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dust collection systems and ensure regrind material is supplied.
• Identify scrap and regrind by color and tag accordingly.
• Assist with staging bins, skids, and regrind for production.
• Operate forklift following safety procedures and perform pre-shift checks.
• Report equipment issues to Maintenance or Supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision/management.
