Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems is seeking a Grind Line Operator to move recycled plastics to the grind line, fill boxes, and transport materials for storage and distribution. The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires the ability to work 40+ hours including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, PPE compliance, and maintaining a clean, safe facility. Prior industrial experience is preferred, along with basic math skills and a willingness to learn new processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new skills and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport recycled plastic to the beginning of the grind line for processing.
• Fill boxes with processed material and transport to storage or distribution prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Practice PPE compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to the Plant Manager.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required.
• Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain facility housekeeping.
