Monroechamber in Middleton, WI is seeking a Grinder Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This full-time position features a 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:00pm, with overtime opportunities and weekly hours above 50 as needed.

You will operate grinders, manage scrap and materials, and keep a safe, clean work area. Attention to detail, math skills, and teamwork are essential for maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities

• Follows production schedule and communicates scrap needs.
• Identifies and grinds the correct type of scrap to designated bins.
• Maintains continuous material flow and meets production rate targets.
• Operates grinder and in-feed conveyor safely.
• Performs basic materials handling and assists with lifting.
• Operates control system to cut wire casing from scrap.
• Removes bale wires and foreign material from scrap.
• Helps position materials for production and keeps area clean.
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized work environment.
