Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano is hiring a Grinding Operator for 1st shift or 3rd shift (10-hour days, Monday to Thursday) at $23/hour. Join a fourth-generation family-owned company that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement while offering weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

You will grind iron castings to specification, operate robots and grinders, record data, and contribute to a culture that builds, feeds, and defends America.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.
• High School Diploma (GED works program available) and willingness to learn.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60 lbs.
• Basic math and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Grind iron castings to specifications.
• Operate power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders and pencil grinders.
• Record data and complete paperwork.
• Overtime opportunities on 1st shift (4am-2pm) and 3rd shift (6pm-4am).
• 1st shift 4am-2pm, 3rd shift 6pm-4am.

• Prior machine shop experience is a plus!
• 1st shift 4am-2pm, 3rd shift 6pm to 4 am. OVERTIME available!
