Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Grinder operator to ensure quality regrind products by separating polymers, removing handles and gaskets, and recording shift totals. The role requires safe forklift and pallet jack operation, physical endurance for multiple shift work, and a commitment to housekeeping in the Grinder Room and Scrap Area.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a 2 days on/2 days off schedule; pay increases to $19.50 per hour after 90 days based on performance and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, good communication and dependability required.
• Must be able to frequently lift, bend, reach and stand for long periods.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack safely.

Responsibilities

• Insure a quality regrind product by separating polymers and removing handles/gaskets.
• Record regrind totals for each shift.
• Monitor granulator for proper operation and report issues to Maintenance/QA.
• Maintain good housekeeping in Grinder Room and Scrap Area.
• Assist with packing and other production floor activities as needed.
