• Set up and operate the grinding machine according to specifications of the project.
• Read and interpret blueprints or design schematics to understand the project requirements.
• Select and install the appropriate tools and equipment needed for the grinding process.
• Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut.
• Monitor the machine while it's running to ensure its functioning properly and to prevent errors or malfunctions.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its longevity and safety.
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the grinding process.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a technical program such as machining, welding, industrial equipment, or manufacturing engineering.
• 1+ years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
