We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our 3rd shift team!
Experience, Educational and Technical Qualifications
- The Operator should possess a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation, and a focus on improving the business.
- The Operator may be required to act as Person In Charge in the absence of management.
- The Operator must have a High School diploma or GED and successfully complete entrance examinations and interviews.
Abilities Required
- Be punctual and reliable in attendance.
- Follow directions and work well with others.
- Work effectively under deadlines.
- Concentrate and perform tasks accurately.
- Adapt to change and handle multiple tasks as assigned.
Daily Operations
- Complete machine and task-specific training as per the Operator Development Plan and perform related checklists.
- Collect quality data and correct deviations to meet specifications.
- Monitor SPC charts and respond to deviations.
- Communicate issues, progress, and improvement ideas to management and staff.
- Perform maintenance tasks and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Maintain good housekeeping to exceed standards.
- Accurately report production data.
- Monitor and explain deviations from expected OEE.
- Participate in safety, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement activities to foster a World Class environment.
- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks, Boom Lifts, and Scissor Lifts according to OSHA regulations.
Quality/GMP/Food Safety
- Produce and pack high-quality products meeting or exceeding standards.
- Ensure proper labeling and tagging of all production.
- Complete quality checks and record results appropriately.
- Handle non-conforming products following proper protocols.
- Record raw material lot numbers accurately.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
