Overview

Job Description- $20 per hour with a $2 shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect a wide variety of commercial and manufactured parts for compliance with engineering specifications and company standards
• Verify correct product using job traveler
• Use inspection methodology and record all results including precision measuring tools
• Interpret complex drawings, process sheets, and company standards
• Work with quality and management departments for any manufacturing issues/defects
• Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance to assure continuity of production
• Read part drawing with sectional views
• Maintain plant standards in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, housekeeping, teamwork, and attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be willing to learn
• Mechanical aptitude
• Blueprint reading ability required
• Precision measuring tools required
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, effective communication skills and team player
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met
