Job summary

MW Components, Inc. in an air-conditioned shop is seeking a Grinder Machine Operator to perform precision grinding of metal parts by placing work pieces in holding fixtures or hoppers.

The role emphasizes accuracy and attention to detail in a controlled environment. You will monitor machine operations, inspect and measure pieces to ensure specs, remove finished parts, read work orders, and dress the grinding wheel with a preset dressing device, while collaborating with a team to maintain quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Capable of reading and completing work orders.
• Dresses wheel using a preset dressing device.
• Other tasks as requested

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Capability of working from verbal instructions.
• Engage in a team environment to resolve issues.
• Ability to work independently on primary responsibilities.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the use of calipers, micrometers and load test equipment.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
