Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems in Fort Payne, AL is hiring a Grind Line Operator to move recycled plastics to the grind line, fill boxes, and assist with storage and distribution. The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires 40+ hours per week, including weekends as needed.

Candidates should be self-motivated, dependable, and able to learn new skills. The position emphasizes PPE safety, teamwork, and maintenance tasks in a hot or cold manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Transport recycled plastic to the beginning of the grind line for processing.
• Fill boxes with processed material and transport to storage or distribution.
• Maintain PPE compliance and a safe working environment.
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to the Plant Manager.
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required.
• Operate forklift for material movement and loading.
• Maintain facility housekeeping.
