Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook for our on-site kitchen located at a TA travel center. You will prepare and present quality food to guests, supporting a fast-paced restaurant team and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include prep work, grill station setup, following plate presentation guides, completing safety checklists, and maintaining safe food handling. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and some holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients
• Perform grill cook tasks; set up broiler, fryer and grill stations according to line check sheets
• Prepare products to guest specifications and follow plate presentation guides
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets
• Practice safe food handling and storage and report unsafe situations
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs
• Build strong communication with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned
