Huey’s in the Memphis area is seeking an Experienced Grill Cook to join our team. You will prepare and cook food according to Huey’s recipes, ensuring quality and timeliness. Set up your station each shift, prep ingredients, and follow health and safety standards while working with a friendly, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong organization and active listening skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• The ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock station before service.
• Prep food daily following Huey’s recipes.
• Comply with Health Department regulations and safety standards.
• Serve and prepare food of the highest quality.
• Make sure that food is ready at the right time, in the right order, and at the right temperature.
• Meet required ticket times for appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
• Clean station and may assist other cooks with cleaning.
• Communicate and cooperate with back-of-house and front-of-house coworkers.
• Comply with Huey’s policies and procedures.
