Huey's in the Memphis area is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team. A Fry Cook prepares according to recipes and customer requests, ensuring setup and readiness before service.

Responsibilities include daily prep, following Huey’s recipes, maintaining health standards, and delivering high-quality food while coordinating with kitchen and service staff. This role offers a friendly work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong organization and active listening skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 30 pounds.
• Exceptional time management.
• Flexible availability for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and stocking station before service.
• Prepping food daily and following Huey’s recipes.
• Complying with Health Department regulations and safety standards.
• Serving and preparing food of the highest quality.
• Making sure food is ready at the right time and temperature.
• Meeting required ticket times for appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
• Cleaning station and assisting others as needed.
• Communicating with back-of-house and front-of-house coworkers.
• Adhering to Huey’s policies and procedures.
