We are hiring immediately for an on-call GRILL COOK position at Fox Valley Tech, located at 1825 North Bluemound Drive, Appleton, WI 54914. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: On call; shifts will vary depending on needs, more details upon interview.

Requirement: 3 years of experience is required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $18.75 per hour.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation. Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket-collection procedures during service. Keep records from the area worked during service periods.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure proper quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods properly following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information to supervisor.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Perform duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
