Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is seeking a Grill Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events. Responsibilities include grilling, frying, seasoning, portioning, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

The role requires 0–2 years of related experience with a High School diploma or equivalent; ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons and cooks meats and vegetables using frying, grilling and sautéing.
• Prepares starches, vegetables and other side hot food items.
• Performs food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe.
• Deep fries, grills and sautés meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Portions food on serving plates.
• May prepare bakery items, receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs, and prepare meals for special diets.
• May clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
