Job summary

Balls Foods in Leawood, KS is seeking a grill cook with strong line cooking skills and a focus on food safety. The role requires 2+ years in a fast-paced kitchen, proficiency in knife work, and the ability to stand for long periods while moving quickly.

You will be responsible for daily production, set-up and breakdown of the grill station, following directions, and maintaining teamwork and high attention to detail.

Job description

Our grill cooks should be proficient in line cooking, knife skills, food safety and sanitation procedures. A minimum of 2 years in a professional kitchen with experience in high volume, fast-paced cooking is a plus. This position would be responsible for the daily production, set-up & breakdown of the station. Ability to follow directions and complete daily tasks with high attention to detail.

A degree or certificate in Culinary Arts is helpful, however not required.
