• We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.
• Location: Dominion Energy - 600 Canal Place, Richmond, VA 23219. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: High volume grill cook experience in breakfast and lunch required.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to standards and regulations to ensure high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes orders and prepares items requiring short preparation, completes orders from steam tables, and serves customers at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food is at correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures and maintains records during service.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Transfers food using pans, kettles, and trays safely.
6. Stores foods following safety, wrapping, and rotation procedures.
7. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant issues to supervisors.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
