Job Opening: Grill Cook

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Grill Cook position at Matthews Medical Center, located at 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days may vary from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating weekends from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior experience as a grill cook, cook, sous chef, or in food service or customer service is required.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Use established procedures for order collection and record keeping.
• Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Transport food safely between workstations.
• Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
