Compass Group USA is hiring for full-time and part-time Grill Cook positions at Stryker Medical South Cafe in Portage, MI. The role prepares food and serves customers at the grill station following federal, state and corporate standards.

You must have previous cooking experience; the schedule includes a Monday–Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm (full-time) and Saturday–Sunday 8:00 am–12:00 pm (part-time). Benefits available for associates.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
