Job summary

Compass Group USA on the University of Wisconsin campus in Superior is hiring Grill Cooks for part-time and full-time shifts. Part-time schedules include Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM–2:30 PM or Thu-Fri 11:00 AM–7:00 PM; Full-time schedule is Sat-Wed 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. Prior food service or customer experience is preferred, and training is available.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
