JOEY Restaurants is seeking a line cook to join our fast-paced kitchen in Los Angeles. You will prepare menu items according to JOEY recipes, coordinate with other stations, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years culinary experience (If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items per JOEY recipes; coordinate with other stations.
• Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties.
• Follow safety guidelines for equipment and cleaning compounds; report issues to leadership.
• Follow food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.
