JOEY Restaurants is seeking a Grill Cook to join our team in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. You will follow menu specifications, uphold quality, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen while working with your teammates to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years of culinary experience, ability to obtain Food Handler permits, thrive under pressure, and stay on your feet all shift. We offer training, development, and benefits to our partners.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years culinary experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
• Passion for hospitality and proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various preparation and cooking methods to ensure quick, precise creation of menu items in accordance with JOEY recipes.
• Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
• Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set your team up for success.
• Follow instructions for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds; report equipment issues to leadership.
• Follow all food service safety precautions and procedures.
