Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn St. Pete Beach is seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our on-site kitchen team. The role focuses on grilling steaks, seafood, and other favorites to guest specifications, in a fast-paced hotel restaurant and banquets setting.

You will maintain high quality, ensure proper presentation, and support cross-training while upholding safety and sanitation standards in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including food & beverage, service techniques, safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for on-property restaurant, banquets and events at high quality.
• Set up hot and cold line stations and present items properly.
• Rotate stock to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of prep areas at all times.
• Assist with ordering of food supplies as needed.
• Communicate guest requests to supervisor promptly and professionally.
• Follow safety rules and handle equipment safely.
• Cross-train as directed and perform other tasks.
