Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove is seeking a Grill Cook to join Bellini’s kitchen team. You will prepare and grill foods per customer preferences and work with the kitchen to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates have grill cook experience, strong teamwork, and knowledge of kitchen safety and plating. This full-time role offers competitive wages based on experience and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a Grill cook or similar role.
• Willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service.
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and kitchen.
• Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment.
• Good knowledge of food plating techniques.
• Understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time when cooking and preparing food.
• Willingness to work required shifts, i.e., night shift, breakfast rush, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree from a culinary school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeping track of meal prep components to ensure timely completion of final dishes.
• Chopping and preparing vegetables and other non-meat ingredients.
• Stocking ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Maintaining clean and sanitized workstations.
• Checking perishable ingredients and food items for freshness.
• Understanding of portions when cutting and slicing meat, poultry and seafood.
• Reading order tickets and recipes.
• Hand-eye coordination when using kitchen tools and cooking utensils.
• Taking daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination.
• Maintain a clean station at all times.
