Qualifications

• Experience as grill cook or line cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work in a high-heat environment and meet ticket times.
• Knowledge of meat temperatures and proper food safety practices.
• Willing to obtain Food Handler's Certification if not currently held.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage grill station during service, including searing, and grilling meats, vegetables, and other menu items
• Prepare and cook food orders accurately and efficiently to meet ticket times
• Maintain proper food temperatures, cooking times, and portion control standards
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of raw proteins
• Set up, break down, and clean grill station before and after each shift and assist with other stations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff during service
• Assist with prep work including seasoning and portioning products

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a grill cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role
• Ability to work in a high-heat, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, meat temperatures, and food safety standards
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Positive team-player attitude with strong communication skills
