Job summary

LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort in Naples, FL is seeking a Grill Cook to lead our busiest station and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Bring mastery of the grill, fast-paced service, and a passion for hospitality to our luxury resort on the Gulf of Mexico.

You will set up stations, ensure food safety, manage temperatures, and collaborate with Fine Dining and Banquets teams to create memorable meals. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience mastering the grill as a Line Cook, Banquet Cook, or similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and daily specials to ensure the highest quality products are served.
• Ensure organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of all work areas and kitchen equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience at mastering the grill as a Line Cook, Banquet Cook, or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours each shift.
• Ability to walk, squat and lift up to 25 pounds

The OFFER:

Starting rate of pay based on skills and experience: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour based on skills. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
