LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, FL, is hiring line cooks to join Baleen, the Members-Only Beach Club Dining Room, and the Banquet Culinary Team. Bring experience, passion for hospitality, and a commitment to high-quality service.

You will work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed, maintain safety standards, support events, and grow in a luxury resort environment with competitive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or Banquet Cook preferred.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, safety, and sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with required tools, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

• Set up workstations with required tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and health regulations.
• Review production schedules and par levels to ensure proper preparation.
• Transport supplies from storage areas and stock designated workstations.
• Prepare and produce menu items needed for daily operations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings and daily specials to ensure the highest quality products are served.
• Ensure organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of all work areas and kitchen equipment.
• Support banquet events and employee dining operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Banquet Cook, or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to walk, lift up to 25 poinds, and bend and stoop as needed
• Ability to work at times in a heated kitchen.

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
