Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Grill Cook to maintain high quality standards and consistently deliver exceptional dishes in a team-driven kitchen. You will be responsible for accurate preparation, portion control, and adherence to our safety and sanitation policies.

This role requires a minimum of two years in kitchen prep and line cooking, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and strong communication with managers and staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in kitchen preparation and line cooking.
• Positive energy, team-oriented, and willing to assist fellow staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand basic cooking directions.

Responsibilities

Grill Cook

As a Grill Cook, you maintain high quality standards for each dish that is sent out. Consistency and perfection are the key objectives when delivering an unforgettable dining experience while working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepares, stocks, and maintains the highest quality cuisine for guests, adhering to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat-top range, refrigeration equipment, and adheres to all applicable regulations for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
• Promptly reports all product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to the Chef.

Requirements for Success

• Minimum two years of experience in kitchen preparation and line cooking.
