Job summary

Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community in Raleigh is seeking a dedicated food service team member to prepare items for same-day service and to assist in grill area duties, following standard recipes and precise portioning.

You will assemble ingredients from refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms, merchandise foods for service and events, and ensure attractive, consistent portions for residents. This full-time role supports a mission of dignity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in food service industry.
• Excellent communicative skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for same-day service and some in advance at grill area.
• Assemble food items needed for preparation from refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms.
• Follow standard recipes and portioning procedures to prepare meats and sides to order.
• Merchandise foods to be serviced in the grill and at functions in standardized portions.
