Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems emphasis preferred.
• Experience in power systems, transmission planning, or related protection/controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power system studies related to transmission system stability and reliability.
• Conduct technical evaluations for transmission and generation equipment applications.
• Create and apply models used in planning and operational studies.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering evaluations, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on system planning and emerging technology.
• Assess impacts of new technologies and industry trends.
• Present technical findings to engineering staff and management.
• Support development of technical standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate impacts of increasing BPS-connected resources and data centers on reliability.
