ENGIE North America Inc. invites applications for the Intern, Solar Design (Utility Scale Renewables) position in San Francisco.

You will help develop grid-scale solar projects across North America, supporting site layout, energy modelling, and engineering analysis alongside experienced engineers. You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, Python scripting and other industry tools, contribute to design inputs, and participate in process improvements that accelerate project

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent oral and written communication and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site layout and energy production analyses for grid-scale solar projects.
• Evaluate design criteria, identify site constraints and opportunities, and prepare design inputs.
• Support engineering studies and project development efforts.
• Contribute to process improvements, workflow automation, and optimization initiatives.
